The Enrichment Program provides life skills training and character development for the student-athletes of the LA Galaxy Academy. The program implements an Enrichment once a month, in the form of developmental workshops, guest speakers, videos, discussions, and/or field trips to add an additional dimension to the LA Galaxy Academy. The Enrichment Program also encompasses the LA Galaxy Academy community outreach initiatives.
The goal of the Enrichment Program is twofold:
Cultivate LA Galaxy values within the Academy student-athletes
Produce graduates who are well-rounded individuals with strong skills for navigating life successfully
LA Galaxy Core Values: Be the Best, Advance the Game, Make a Difference, and Respect All Life Performance Skills: Focus, Perspective taking, Communication, Critical thinking, Perseverance, Self Regulation, Motivation, Emotional Intelligence, Metacognition
The Enrichment Program content is selected based on critical values and skills that create and drive the LA Galaxy environment and culture.

October 2016 -LA Galaxy Academy volunteer at LA Regional Food Bank
June 2016 - Ashley Cabrera, Manager of Partnership Activation, visited the classroom to educate our student-athletes on organizations and corporations whom the Galaxy have partnered with. She also spoke about the importance of branding and representing the Galaxy with integrity.
May 2016 - Chris Glidden (Manager of Communications and Digital) visited the Academy classrooms to discuss his role in the Galaxy organization. Chris spoke about his journey that brought him to the club. He also educated the boys on how to properly manage their relationships with media personnel. The student-athletes also learned about the importance of representing themselves appropriately on social media.
April 2016 - Tom Gargan, Manager of Business Development for LA Galaxy II paid a visit to the LA Galaxy Academy classroom. Tom spoke to the boys about his path to his current position within the Galaxy organization. He also let the student-athletes know his role and responsibilities in getting the word out about LAGII.
January 2016 - former LMU student-athlete, LaRon Armstead, spoke to the Academy student-athletes about his life, the struggles he went through, and the valuable lessons he learned that have continued to help him thrive today.
